- Volunteer at the Habitat ReStore - Coming Soon! —
The Habitat ReStore couldn't exist without the help of volunteers. Please consider giving a little of your time to help this worthy project. Your efforts will help Habitat for Humanity make a difference in the lives of Middlesex County residents! We will work with your schedule, even one 4-hour shift a week and we only ask for a six month commitment. To sign-up for for more information, contact Jack Doyle at (860)343-9179.
- Coordinator —
Manage store operations • Schedule pick-up for merchandise donations • Schedule workers, etc.
- Warehouse —
• Prepare, stock, and display donated materials • Pricing • Keep Habitat ReStore clean • Assist in loading purchases • Work with Sales and with Pickup as needed
- Pick-Up Driver —
• Collect donations • Quality control responsibility • Load, secure, transport, and unload donations • Maintain loading area • Maintain vehicles (preventive)
- Floor Help & Cashiers —
• Greet customers • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner • Respond to customer questions • Assist customers in locating and loading materials • Coordinate with Warehouse to keep shelves stocked • Operate cash register
- Office Help —
Process office paperwork • Bookkeeping • Administrative Work • Phones

- Workshop Leaders —
Also needed are volunteers with extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, heating/venting, etc. that would be willing to teach staff and perhaps conduct monthly workshops.
- Media, Newsletter, Press —
For anyone interested in writing for the newsletter, issuing press releases, making contact with local media, etc. No experience necessary - just enthusiasm! Contact the Volunteer Coordinator if you're a candidate.
- Office Assistance —
We are always looking for folks to assist in mailings, answering the phone, and other general office activities.
