Due to tight housing markets throughout Middlesex County, Middlesex Habitat for Humanity is experiencing challenges acquiring building lots or dwellings to meet the needs of our prospective Habitat for Humanity families.  There are over 140 families on the applicant log list waiting for their chance to own a Habitat for Humanity house!

Middlesex Habitat For Humanity Of CT, Inc. is actively seeking donations of land or dwellings.  MHFH purchases land at fair appraisal value. We do not purchase property in the floodplain and we do not mediate heirship issues.  These gifts are a wonderful and significant way to support Habitat's work in our community. Additionally, the market value of land or dwellings dontated to Habitat may be tax deductible. Further, land or dwellings may be sold to MHFH for an amount less than full market value and the difference between the sale price and market value may be tax deductible.

If you know of such property or would like to speak to us about the sale or donation of your property, please contact us at (860) 343-9179 or Contact Us Via Email .

Thank you for helping to create affordable housing in Middletown.
